Mag Touch Software Update
 
The Magtouch PC software has been updated to resolve the abnormality in the dates which reflected in the reports when changing from 2009 to 2010. Please note that in spite of the year numbers reflected in the reports being 2 years behind (2008 instead of 2010), all other information in the reports such as clocking ID’s, times etc. are correct!
 

To prevent this error, follow the following steps:

  1. Save the WinZip file (Magtouch.zip) to your computer. (NB: this is the Magtouch.exe file only & NOT the entire installation file).
  2. Use WinZip to extract the file to the following location: ‘C:\ Program Files\ MT’.
  3. Upon extraction of the file, replace the existing file with the new file. Restart the Magtouch software and any batons downloaded from here on will have the correct dates
